As someone who has cruised with Norwegian several times, I can share both the pros and the cons of doing an NCL cruise. However, Great Stirrup Cay is one of my personal private islands! Con: Limited shorter sailings
When compared to other cruise lines such as Disney Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean, I have noticed that generally there seem to be fewer younger children onboard Norwegian Cruise Line ships. When these promotions are running it can mean that booking airfare through the cruise line can be much more affordable than booking airfare on your own. Because of this, I personally count their air-to-sea program as a pro for the cruise line. Some of my favorite cruise entertainment has been onboard Norwegian Cruise Line ships, especially their newer vessels that feature Broadway-style shows.
Pro: A ship for everyone
There's tons of great entertainment on Norwegian's vessels, plenty of venues for eating and drinking, and all sorts of deck-top diversions — at least on the line's newest ships. Throw in the brand's low starting prices, and it's an even more compelling package. Members earn points for every night they sail on one of the line's ships. They get an additional point for every night they stay in a concierge room, a suite (not including stays in minisuites, or stays in suites resulting from an upgrade) or a room in The Haven. They also get an additional point for every night booked through a Latitudes Rewards Insider Offer.

Pride of America is the only US-flagged cruise ship and it’s the only vessel the operates inner-island itineraries. While searching for spring break cruises, I stumbled upon a very cheap, two night sailing onboard Norwegian Sun. Even better, the cruise sailed from Malaga, Spain to Lisbon, Portugal with a stop in Cadiz, Spain. I love cruising around Europe, so I couldn’t resist the opportunity to book this cheap cruise. However, internet on NCL is more expensive than other large cruise ships which is really crud if you’re someone like us that works online or if you just really like streaming Netflix while on vacation.
